Bishop Bonny of Antwerp Accused of Homophilic Statements by Catholic Laity in Rome

(Brussels) The Bishop of Antwerp, Msgr. Johan Bonny, has been brought on charges in the Roman Congregation for the Clergy. "We demand clarity as to whether this is still a Catholic, what Bishop Bonny has claimed or not," said the Belgian, Catholic lay association Pro Familia .
The Bishop has been widely known in recent years primarily through his homophilic utterances. Born in Ostende in West Flanders 1955, Bonny was appointed in 2008 by Pope Benedict XVI, however, he is a "product" of the former primate of Belgium, Godfried Cardinal Danneels, and the then apostolic nuncio, Karl-Josef Rauber. Danneels was retired and "disowned" in 2010 by Benedict XVI.  because the German pope did not see Danneels'  ideal progressive candidate as fit to succeed, but chose the "conservative" André-Joseph Léonard instead. Rauber was also retired by Benedict XVI. Both Danneels and Rauber are, incontrast, held in high regard by  Pope Francis.  Danneels belonged toTeam Bergoglio , who [illegally] organized the election Jorge Mario Bergoglio in the conclave of 2013. Rauber was raised by Francis to Cardinal, while he denied Archbishop Léonard the purple.

"Acknowledge Homosexual love"

The controversial Bonny-book

Last October 11 is Bonny's book "Mag ik? Dank je. Sorry. Vrijmoedige dialoog over Relaties, huwlijk en gezin" (May I? Thank you. Sorry. Frank dialogue about relationships, Marriage and Family) appeared. As the Gazet van Antwerpen had already reported on October 6, Antwerp's bishop speaks for "new religious rituals" from "which we can recognize the reality of life between homosexuals also from ecclesiastical and religious perspective?" The marriage is indeed  a connection between man and woman, but it is though that the Church should recognize homosexual unions and bless them in a private ritual.
The Belgian Association of Catholic laity Pro Familia (not to be confused with the West German branch of the international abortion group Planned Parenthood ) was no longer prepared to accept this "Belgian situation." They filed a complaint because of  several lines in Bonny's new book with Cardinal Beniamino Stella, Prefect of the Roman Congregation for the Clergy.
Bishop Bonny writes therein:
"In no way could we continue to assert that there is no other form of love outside of heterosexual marriage. We encounter the same love even in a man and in a woman's life in the experience of a gay or lesbian couple.

Roman Congregation for Clergy now has to give an answer

"The Roman Congregation is the competent, senior administrative body, which now must provide an answer to the question of whether what Bishop Bonny teaches is Catholic, or whether it is a false doctrine that contradicts the Catechism of the Catholic Church. The Catechism refers to aberrosexuality as "an objective disorder". The Congregation will have to consider also whether the bishop is to be condemned for it or not," said OsservatorioGender Rodolfo de Mattei.
They had arrived at a crossroads. It is no longer possible to turn a blind eye. The Catholic lay organization calls for clarification, since the Catholic deposit of faith is not a hotchpotch of different opinions.
The step of the Belgian Association of Pro Familia can also be seen against the background of great confusion caused by the post-synodal papal Letter Amoris Laetitia, which has been driven to new heights. It gives the impression that the Catholic Church has spread the idea everywhere, the "air of a spiritual Wild West" where everyone  - whether episcopal conferences, dioceses or individuals - are trying to do what he wants, and to interpret in his own way, even the most controversial parts of the recent post-synodal letter.
When it became known that the complaint would be introduced, Bishop Bonny said: "Everyone is free to go where he wants." At the same time, he urged his critics to read the texts of Pope Francis again, "especially Evangelium Gaudium  and Amoris Laetitia" before they turn to the Congregation of Clergy.

"Variations in the perception of moral teaching"

"Bishop Bonny showed ostentatious security by 'spoking for all who today want to be Christians' of, respect, and of variations' in the perception of moral teaching within the Church," said OsservatorioGender.
The Catholic lay organization Pro Familia sees the matter differently: The Church can not bless what God has forbidden. Bishop Bonny had already been made similarly worded statements in the past.  Nevertheless, he was sent by the Belgian Bishops' Conference as the only representative to Rome for the Synod of Bishops on the Family.  There must be a limit of endurance. The Catholic lay organization made it clear that it is not going to be satisfied with an evasive or noncommittal answer from Rome.

Bishop Bonny (Antwerp): "New Rituals for the Blessing of Aberrosexuals and Second Marriages"

Bishop Bonny wants "New Rituals" for the blessing of aberrosexuals
and second marriages

(Brussels) Johan Bonny, the Bishop of Antwerp in Belgium, wants a private ritual to bless gay couples, second marriages and "wild marriages".
On the 6th of October, the Gazet van Antwerpen reported the plans of the bishop. In a few days, on 11 October, Bonny's book " Mag ik? Dank je. Sorry.Vrijmoedige dialoog over Relaties, huwlijk en gezin "(May I? Thank you. Sorry. Frank dialogue about relationships, marriage and family) will appear. As the Antwerp newspaper reported, the bishop is thinking aloud about "new religious rituals." In cooperation with Roger Burggraeve (Emeritus Professor of Moral Theology at the Theological Faculty of the Catholic University of Leuven ) and Ilse Van Halst (editor of the Antwerp church newspaper Kerk & Leven ) he says of the resulting book: "The question is whether we were able to put it all in a single model."
"Should we not develop various rituals in which we can recognize the reality of life between homosexuals and also from an ecclesiastical and religious perspective?
Because, says Bishop Bonny, homosexual couples can enter into an exclusive and long term relationship."The deep symbolic bond between the different sexes and the fertility of this relationship, becomes the real sacramental covenant," reported the newspaper about Bonny's theses.
Even remarried divorcees, says Bonny, demand a differentiating approach. The Antwerp Bishop "believes that the Church in some cases can bless a second union," wrote Gazet van Antwerpen .
"It is known that the Orthodox Church traditionally practiced the confirmation of a new union for reasons of charity, which allows the new couple to find a place in the community. This new blessing is not a repeat or a substitute for the first sacramental marriage. That was and remains unique."
Johan Bonny was  in 2008 at the request of Cardinal Godfried Danneels and with the help of the then apostolic nuncio in Belgium, Karl-Josef Rauber, named by  Benedict XVI. as Bishop of Antwerp.

Belgian Situation

Cardinal Danneels, at that time Archbishop of Mechelen-Brussels and Primate of Belgium received criticism  because of his liberal views and aberrophilic church policy. 2010, where there were spectacular house searches in the episcopal palace and a scandalous grave desecration by the Belgian police, of the graves of departed bishops. There were no findings, and no official apology. Danneels survived everything.
Only Pope Benedict XVI. sought to correct the liberal course of the Belgian Church. This had previously become highly visible in the year, when only a single bishop defended the German Pope against the unprecedented criticism by the Belgian Parliament. The Parliament, unique in its history, had condemned the Pope's statement in a formal resolution, during his visit to Africa where he had reaffirmed the ecclesiastical condemnation of artificial contraception.

Catholic Action Flanders published this picture in response to Bonny's statements about a homo-event. What do children probably  think of the picture, who are the irresponsible ones there?

Against Cardinal Dannneels' wishes,  Benedict XVI. named this single courageous bishop, André-Joseph Léonard of Namur, as Primate of Belgium in January 2010. From the majority of progressive Church in Belgium, this was regarded as an unprecedented affront, one for which it has never forgiven Benedict. Nuncio Rauber, who was standing with these groups in the best of terms, led an outrageous media campaign and criticized the decision of Benedict publicly, which resulted in a dismissal from Belgium and Luxembourg and - because he had just become 75 - to retire.
Cardinal Danneels was, as was announced on 23 November 2014 in a book on the pope by the Englishman Austen Ivereigh, that along with Walter Kasper and Karl Lehmann, he had organized "Team Bergoglio"," for the election of Jorge Mario Bergoglio in conclave of 2013. On September 22, in 2015. this became known by a Danneels biography and from his own mouth that he was, since the 90s  subversive, belonging to clandestine circles within the Church. Named after the meeting in Sankt Gallen in Switzerland and founded by the  Cardinal Carlo Maria Martini SJ, deceased in 2012,  the aim was to achieve the election of a progressive pope and to boycott the activity established by the "restorative" Popes John Paul II. and Benedict XVI. Danneels explained frankly that the members of the secret circle thought of themseleves as "the Mafia."

Belgium Church remains in progressive hands

After the election of Pope Francis the bounty did not remain. Archbishop Leonard was denied the dignity of Cardinal. This however was a humiliating slap for Leonard and for Benedict XVI. for former Nuncio Rauber .  Francis retired Leonard at  75 years, although he was in perfect health. The new Archbishop and Primate was Joszef De Kesel, Danneels' preferred candidate before the "accident" Leonard. The attempt at a turnaround in the liberal occupied Belgian Church, which Pope Benedict XVI. had tried timidly, has since been considered "eradicated". Archbishop De Kesel called a few months after taking office for the abolition of priestly celibacy from, an old demand of the ecclesiastical '68ers. In this context, there was also the expulsion of a "too conservative"  French priestly community of Belgium whose ability to attract  priestly vocations in a considerable volume, bothered the usual complaint [pretext] over the "prevailing lack of priests."
Bishop Bonny attracted considerable attention by an accentuated aberroophilic attitude. The turn of 2014/2015 saw the demand that the Church should recognize homosexuality stir.  A Petition from faithful Catholics, turned to the Pope and demanded a clarification of the question whether Bonnys Homo-looking statements "are Catholic or not." Rome remained silent. Instead Bonny was summoned by the Belgian Bishops 'Conference in June 2015 appointed to Synod for the Bishops' Synod  on the family. Pope Francis in turn appointed Cardinal Danneels personally to synod. On May 6, 2015 Primate Leonard completed his 75th year. On November 6 De Kesel was announced as his successor. With that, the "reconquest" of Brussels was successfully completed by progressive church circles.

Aberrosexualist Bishop of Antwerp to Represent Belgium at Bishops' Synod

In a press release issued this afternoon, Tuesday, June 16th, by the press service of the Vatican that Bishop Johan Bonny of Antwerp will represent Belgium as a Synod Father. The Synod will take place in Rome from October 4th to the 25th.

It boggles the mind that such men are clergy much less bishops heading ancient Sees and holding honor.

Will Aberrophile Bishop Bonny be the New Archbishop of Brussels and Primate of Belgium?

Bishop Johan Bonny, Known for His
Support for the Abberrosexual Lobby
(Brussels) "Catholics been irritated to note that high church officials can make statements with impunity  that depart from the Church's faith and moral teaching. Some are even promoted," said the website against hostility to  Christians, NoCristianofobia . Belgian Catholics can not say different since of all people, Bishop Johan Bonny of Antwerp is considered the leading candidate for the post of archbishop of Malines-Brussels and thus the Primate of Belgium.  Bishop Bonny's only previous "performance" was in a notorious public declaration of support for the aberrosexual ideology.
The reigning Archbishop André-Joseph Léonard has been  attacked publicly as no other Catholic bishop. When labeled "conservative", he was already the victim of brutal and humiliating attacks on camera by the members of political mercenaries topless Femen. Nevertheless, Pope Francis has  denied him the dignity of Cardinal, which is traditionally associated with the archbishop's See. Instead of strengthening the standing of an  Archbishop in an exposed position, this will weaken him.
Internal church pressure has since increased   on Archbishop Leonard. Progressive circles have registered that their chief shepherd is not in the favor of the Argentine Pope and acting cavalierly.

Cardinal Danneels  Mentor of Bonny in Rome

Cardinal Danneels in the Episcopal Ordination of Johan Bonny
The most influential churchman Belgium since 2013 is clearly the progressive Godfried Cardinal Danneels whose star had fallen into the void under Pope Benedict XVI., but radiates more luminously than ever since his resignation. As a member of Team Bergoglio he campaigned in the General Congregations and the Conclave for the election of the Argentine Jesuit and was successful. His influence has extended since then, again to the Vatican and from there, all the way to the top. Just a few weeks after the accession of Pope Francis, Cardinal Danneels spoke for the recognition of "gay marriage."
The Danneels  party in the  Archdiocese of Brussels thwarted Archbishop Leonard, wherever it was possible. Danneels was Leonard's predecessor. In 2010 Leonard was, at that time, Bishop of Namur, appointed by Pope Benedict XVI. as Primate of Belgium.  The  Summorum-Pontificum.de headline read back then: "A Tridentine 'is new archbishop of Brussels". It's a decision that Cardinal Danneels is said to have never forgiven the German pope. Benedict XVI. had thus thwarted all of Danneels plans for a "progressive" Church. Since the election of Pope Francis Archbishop Leonard has been considered, however, only an "industrial accident" which is to be corrected as quickly as possible.

Homophile Bonny Declaration Remained Without Consequences

Leonard Consecrated Priests of the FSSP at Wigratzbad in the Traditional Rite
Protesting Catholic petitioned Pope Francis about the homophilic statements of Bishop Bonny at Christmastime in 2014 p  (see Request to Pope Francis: "Are the gay statements by Bishop Bonny Catholic or not?" ). In it the Holy Father is asked to answer the question whether the words of Bishop Bonny are still Catholic or not. It was a petition that implicitly urged the pontiff to take punitive action against the bishop of Antwerp. Nothing like this, however, has been done by Rome.
Bishop Bonny  instead rejected a prize from a homo-affiliated association that wanted to reward him for his "courageous" words. Three weeks after his homophilic statements aroused worldwide attention from irritated  Catholics, the bishop wanted to know nothing more about it. A half-hearted detachment, pretending nothing had happened, and even the serious incident of his declaration of support for aberrosexuality forgotten in Rome itself?
Cardinal Danneels actively supports the promotion of  Bishop Bonny. In the context of Danneels in Brussels and in Rome he says triumphantly, that only Archbishop Leonard has stood in the way of   Bonny's appointment as archbishop of Brussels.
On May 6, Leonard has completed his 75th year and offered, as  the canon law requires,  his resignation to the Pope. Now the decision rests with Pope Francis.
